Solas Irish Print Collection

I created this piece in the depths of Winter, but all that was coming to me was light and brightness. I'm so lucky to have found myself surrounded by wonderfully strong and vibrant women who are caring and kind. I think that's why this piece took shape at that time. A vibrant Irish print to celebrate vibrant Irish women!

There's a strength in the colours, in the strong straight line, and there's a femininity in the circle, all encompassing and comforting.

The line of gold is created by gold leaf which I apply by hand to every print so there is time and female energy gone into every single creation.

Solas Collection

The 4 piece Solas Collection was designed to create space for light, colour, hope and comfort. It includes Irish named prints; Solas na mBan (the Light of Women), Solas na Mara (the Light of the Sea), Solas na Coille (the Light of the Woods), and Solas na Ré (the Light of the Moon).

Gold Leaf

Each piece is finished off with real gold leaf which apply by hand. It's a slow and careful process which brings extra depth, texture and light to your artwork. It means that even though you're purchasing a print, there's a one-of-a-kind element to it too. It elevates this from being a standard Irish print, to a high quality one-off piece.

Framing

Each piece comes to you mounted and framed. My frames are Irish made, solid wood and a beautiful quality. The front is real glass, and both the mount and frame are white.
