Songbirds

Songbirds, is a limited edition print, hand finished with gold leaf, and signed by the artist Una Heaney.

This is a digital media piece which is finished off by hand with gold leaf.

The title "Songbirds" is a connection between the birds sitting on a wire, where the wire is made from the 5 lines that make up music stave. It shows the wonderful connection between nature, music, and creativity, with of course a little sparkle of hand applied gold leaf creating the sunrise.

It reminds me of the Fleetwood Mac lyric, "and the songbirds keep singing like they know the score". It's very similar in style and theme to Dawn Chorus, and the two would look great hanging side by side.
