The bond between a new mother and their baby is like a blooming garden. Sometimes it grows slowly, leaf by leaf, as they get to know one another. For others it blooms instantly. Whichever way it grows, it's truly beautiful and unique. I wanted to illustrate that in this Irish print, with that gorgeous feeling of a little hand holding onto its mother.

My Máthair design shows this beautiful bond, with a loving hold, adorable dimples, and a tight grasp of a toddler to their mother. I wanted to include some Gaeilge in the design too so this is a truly Irish print design for an Irish Mammy with the wording sweeping across the bottom in Irish.

Framing

All of my Irish print designs are available mounted and framed. My frames are Irish made, solid wood and a beautiful quality. The front is real glass, and both the mount and frame are white.
