Dawn Chorus

Dawn Chorus, is a limited edition print, hand finished with gold leaf, and signed by the artist Úna Heaney.

This is a digital media piece which is finished off by hand with gold leaf.

The title "Dawn Chorus" is about the birds sitting on a wire, with the morning sun rising below them. If you look closely, you'll see that the 'wire' they're sitting on is actually the five lines that make up the musical stave, completing the "Dawn Chorus".

It reminds me of the Fleetwood Mac lyric, "and the songbirds keep singing like they know the score". It's very similar in style and theme to Midday Melody, and the two would look great hanging side by side.
